PULLEN CHIDES GORDON FOR NO AIRPORT SECURITY

PHOENIX, AZ - “Who knew the greatest security threat to western civilization was not Osama bin-Laden, but Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon?” asked Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.

Pullen’s comments come in response to revelations by Channel 15 news of a massive security breakdown at Sky Harbor Airport over the last two years.

“For the safety of all Arizonans and all Americans, we need a thorough investigation of the situation, if it is found that the Mayor knew of this security failure, he ought to resign.

“The citizens of Phoenix gave their trust and confidence that Mayor Gordon would keep them safe and secure, this security failure is beyond incompetent, it’s beyond gross negligence, it’s borderline criminal,” Pullen said. “Planes from Phoenix travel all over the nation, and from there, all over the world. This security threat is simply incredible and the Mayor must answer for it.”
