PHOENIX, AZ – “It’s always great when Hillary Rodham Clinton shows her face in Arizona. It gives us the opportunity to talk about some of the pressing issues on the mind of the voters. Issues such as her socialized healthcare scheme or her $5,000 taxpayer giveaway scheme. Or how about talking about tax hikes or surrendering to terrorists? Those are certainly issues on the mind of the voters, said Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.”

Pullen’s comments come as Hillary Rodham Clinton is in Tucson today for a $2,300 a head fundraiser.

“It would be nice if Mrs. Rodham Clinton would take some time in Arizona to address our pressing issues, to spend some time speaking with the voters of our state, rather than the Democrat fat cats who are shelling out $2,300 a plate at this private and exclusive fundraiser. But I guess Rodham Clinton needs to get back some of the $850,000 she had to give up from fugitive fundraiser Norman Hsu.

“With only spending time in Arizona to raise money, rather than meeting the voters, it’s no wonder that the latest Cronkite/ Eight Poll showed that in Arizona, 55% of respondents have a negative impression of Hillary Rodham Clinton,” concluded Pullen.

AZGOP TO CLINTON: AMERICA NEEDS LEADERSHIP, NOT HATE

Phoenix, AZ—State Republican Party Communications Director Brett Mecum called on Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton to clean up her campaign, after New York’s junior U.S. Senator resorted to name-calling after losing a vote in Washington and referred to Vice President Dick Cheney as “Darth Vader.”

“In our next president, America needs leadership, not hate,” Mecum said. “Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton may find it funny to engage in the politics of personal destruction, or she may be pathologically incapable of keeping her cool when she’s upset. In either case, her hateful ways of campaigning against both Democrat and Republican opponents are counterproductive to elevating the political discourse in America.

“In this campaign alone, Hillary Rodham Clinton has returned nearly one million dollars in tainted money raised for her campaign by a fugitive from justice who swindled millions from innocent Americans in investment schemes,” Mecum said. “She attacks her opponents without regard to any standard of decency, as if they were personal enemies rather than candidates for office.”

At a town hall meeting in New York, according to the Politico online news/blog site, Senator Clinton bemoaned the defeat of a Democrat attempt to restrict troop deployments in Iraq with a vitriolic personal attack on the vice president. "You can always tell when the Republicans are getting restless, because the vice president’s motorcade pulls into the Capitol, and Darth Vader emerges," she said.

“It was perhaps foolish to think that we might have the opportunity to engage in meaningful debate during this campaign on issues such as Senator Clinton’s flip-flops on Iraq, Senator Clinton’s fascination with a federal takeover of our health care system, or Senator Clinton’s determination to repeal the last six years of tax cuts which spurred years of economic growth,” said Mecum.

“But instead, we have illicit Hillary fundraising, Hillary’s gutter politics and a complete breakdown of any sort of dignity in the campaign process,” Mecum said. “Sadly, the media will likely dismiss this and report about supposed fractures in the GOP when one Republican sneezes and another neglects to say Gesundheit.”

McCAIN, ROMNEY, GIULIANI AND THOMPSON BEST HILLARY RODHAM-CLINTON IN A HEAD TO HEAD ARIZONA MATCHUP

PHOENIX, AZ – The results of the new KAET poll are in and Arizona voters prefer Republican candidates over Democrat frontrunner Hillary Rodham-Clinton. Arizona’s United States Senator, John McCain bests Mrs. Rodham-Clinton by a margin of 48% to 36%, while former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani wins 49% to 27%. Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson both beat out Rodham-Clinton by 43% to 41% and 43% to 40% respectively.

“It’s clear that it’s the Republican message of lower taxes, less government, strong families, a secure border, better education and safer communities that resonates with the people of Arizona,” said Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party. “Arizonans and Americans are not interested in higher taxes, they are not interested in socialized healthcare, they are not interested in surrendering in Iraq, they are appalled by Rodham –Clinton’s latest fundraising scandal, and they are certainly not interested in another Clinton in the White House.”

Pullen continued, “The results of this new poll show that Arizona will play a pivotal roll in the selection of the next President of the United States and that it is Republicans that have the best ideas and have the best candidates and are prepared to lead tomorrow’s America.”

PULLEN TO DEMOCRATS: “JUST SAY NO TO TERRORISM"

Phoenix, AZ— Arizona Republican Party Chairman Randy Pullen today called on Democrat presidential, congressional and local candidates and officeholders to “just say no to terrorism.” Pullen’s comments came after the Democrat presidential hopefuls gathered in Iowa to debate, with more than one candidate calling for cooperation with state-sponsors of terrorism.

“Pull everybody out and turn to the Iranians, who helped us defeat the Taliban initially. It was the Iranians. So if we don't bring the Iranians to help us, or the Syrians, or Saudi Arabia, of course it's going to be a disaster,” said former US Senator Mike Gravel (D-Alaska).

“An all-Muslim peacekeeping force. Get Turkey, get Jordan, get Egypt. Talk to Iran and Syria. Bring them in,” said New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Pullen countered, “You have Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid surrendering to terror every chance he gets. You have Democrat House Speaker visiting with state-sponsors of terror abroad, against the wishes of our own diplomatic corps, all the while attempting to de-fund our troops. You have some of our Democrat presidential candidates calling for terrorists to be included in peace negotiations. Just say no, folks.”

Pullen also chided Senator Hillary Clinton for her John Kerryesque flip-flop of the debate. Moderator George Stephanopoulos had just finished asking Senator Rodham-Clinton whether she had reversed her position on the use of nuclear weapons when the Senator did it again, on camera: “No option should be off the table, but I would certainly take nuclear weapons off the table,” she said on Sunday.

“The Democrats are for something, then they’re against something when the polls change,” Pullen said. “That isn’t leadership – it’s frightening and it’s dangerous. This isn’t what we need in a president – it’s what they make Ritalin to cure.

“Republican candidates like US Senator John McCain, Governor Mitt Romney, Mayor Rudy Giuliani and prospective candidates like former US Senator Fred Thompson and the rest of the Republican field are united in many ways – but an important way today is that none of them, as President, would ever negotiate with, or surrender to, a terrorist,” Pullen said.

LATEST POLL: CLINTON CAN’T COMPETE WITH GOP FRONTRUNNERS

PHOENIX, AZ – Randy Pullen, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party was very pleased with the results of a new Los Angeles Times - Bloomberg poll showing that Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, or John McCain would best Hillary Clinton in a head to head match up in the race for president.

“I think that Americans have come to see that it’s Republican ideas, leadership, and vision that provide the best opportunity to move America forward,” said Pullen. “While Hillary Clinton and her Democrat rivals continue to play the politics of personal destruction and cater to the extremist wing of the Democrat Party, it’s the Republican candidates that are actively putting forth constructive solutions to solve the problems of today and tomorrow.”

Pullen continued, “We live in a turbulent time, and we need strong vision, character, and unwavering leadership to guide our great nation through yet another crossroads of history. Hillary Clinton and the rest of the Democrats just do not have the talent, ability, or fortitude to ensure America’s prominence endures.”
